1. Visual Appeal: The Allure of Pastel Colors

To cater to Saudi families’ pursuit of high-quality living, we abandoned traditional high-saturation reds, yellows, and blues in favor of a soft palette of macaron pink, sky blue, and butter yellow.

This not only makes the space appear more spacious and bright (alleviating the oppressive feeling of low ceilings) but also helps children relax upon entering, encouraging them to stay longer.

2. Flow: Maximizing Capacity in Compact Spaces

Community playgrounds often struggle with long queues during peak hours. Here’s how we addressed this in the core area:

– Three parallel slides: Multiple children can slide simultaneously, boosting interaction while reducing congestion.

Multi-level maze structure: We designed multi-tiered climbing frames behind the slides, maximizing vertical space so over 30 children can play simultaneously without feeling crowded.

3. Safety: 360-Degree Soft Padding
Zoom in on that blue pillar. When structural constraints prevent pillar removal, we transform it into a playground feature:

Impact-Resistant Soft-Covered Poles: All pillars and walls are wrapped in thickened PU soft leather featuring blue sky and white cloud patterns, serving both as decoration and protective shields.

Interlocking Floor Mats: The floor is covered with high-density EVA mats for slip resistance and cushioning.
